SA mission’s trip
A team from GRC went on a mission’s trip to SA in October 2013 and ministered primarily in three areas. Our goal was to express the Love & Power of God and of His Kingdom to the people.
The Lord did an incredible work among the Leaders, from whom we are still receiving testimonies of the goodness of God. The beautiful thing is the way the Lord has empowered and activated these leaders to move into the miraculous lifestyle of the supernatural Kingdom of God, and they have expressed their commitments, after these meetings, to take this Gospel of power and love into their Churches and areas.
The miracles that the Lord wrought has made us all shift further our perspectives of the Kingdom of God and of our own lives. Among the many miracles, the Lord lengthened a 21 year olds leg and then healed her twisted arms. Both her arms were twisted from birth and she wasn’t able to use her hands to feed herself like a normal person. As the Lord healed her, her arms unwound themselves in front of everyone in the midst of screams, cries and gasps of the people, as everyone watched what the Lord did over 8-10 minutes, on each arm as the Lord healed her. After the healing she demonstrated how she can now use her arms and hands to eat like anyone else. This was an amazing experience to go through.
On another instance, a 3 year old girl was brought into a meeting, who had had a surgery when she was a year old and was inserted a shunt, due to excess fluid from her brain. Since then she had a runny nose for the last 2 years. When she was brought into the meeting, the Lord healed her and she dried up instantly. We have been contacted since then and have been informed that she is completely healed. In the same meeting there was another little girl with a blockage in her respiratory passage before her lungs. The Lord healed her as well, and she too is doing very well. In both these works of God, no one laid hands or prayed for them. There were other instances too where the Lord healed people as they were in His presence, with no one laying hands or praying specifically for any situation.
There were a number of cases where people with partial blindness or complete blindness were being healed. There was an instance where a mother who had been completely blind since she was 22 years old (as her optic nerves were dead), and now in her mid fifties, started to see shadows and movements. At this stage we asked her to look up, and she did so and immediately squinted and shrugged her shoulders as she started to see light for the first time after a period of more than 30 years.
Another spectacular miracle that the Lord did was when we invited the Presence of God to encounter the people in the meeting, when a lady lost weight supernaturally in an instant. She held on to her clothes and ran home. When she got home, none of her cloths fit her, so she had to buy new cloths and testified of the goodness of God at her Church service on that Sunday.
Further, the Lord demonstrated His kindness through many other miracles, there were people healed of impacts or injuries suffered from accidents in the past, and in some instances these injuries were sustained many years ago.
The team that went with such excitement, returned rejoicing in the goodness of God and in His great exploits. The Lord healed as the team moved with the Spirit of God and ministered with specific words of knowledge and prayer. Joining such teams on missions is also an amazing opportunity for people to activate and continue in the miraculous lifestyle of the supernatural Kingdom.
