End of year School fair report
As the church met that Sunday for an early service there was excitement about what the Lord was going to do in the fair as there was opportunities to let Jesus touch folks. The church stall had sandwiches and lollies for the kids and operated as a mobile Healing Room. In came a man who was partially deaf and said that he would like to visit us next Sunday as he needed healing from the Lord. But as we prayed over him, he was tested in public where there was so much of background sound and he could hear very well and repeat every thing that was said to him. Seeing this another lady who had partial hearing wanted prayer as well. She was tested and she could see improvement as well. Meanwhile some at the stall decided to mingle among the crowd and bless them. There was a lady who walked with her walking stick and was pleased to receive prayer. She soon came marching into the stall brimming with a big smile and waving her walking aid high in the air to say ‘Thank You’ to Jesus. There were others who stood around a Christmas tree decorated with lights and cards that had printed promises of God and they ministered the love of God to people as they passed by. Another exciting thing that took place was when a lady from another the community was chatting with a person outside the stall and was listening to all the good things that the lord was doing. She felt that she should ask for prayer for her hip that had been in pain for a long time. But she did not utter a word about her problem. Then the leader shook her hand and blessed her and the moment he touched her hand the pain in her hip just vanished. She was simply blown away by God’s goodness.
